Technical Customer Service Representative – ALL SHIFTS
Caribe.Net's Technical Customer Service Representatives provide professional telephone support to our customers on issues related to their account - both billing-related and technical connection issues. You will be responsible for providing technical support & troubleshooting to both Caribe.Net customers as well as contract support customers. Assist in the creation & development of Technical Support materials.  Monitor, maintenance, troubleshooting & report network outages. Data entry, including accepting customer payments, modifying records, opening tickets.

Qualified applicants should have previous help desk experience and a good working knowledge of Internet technologies. Knowledge of IP, PPP, PPPoE essential. Programming and/or networking experience preferred. Excellent communications skills - written & verbal are a must. Must be fully biligual - English/Spanish. Must be conscientious, accurate and capable of reacting logically to unusual or stressful situations and exercising good judgment skills while providing quality customer service.

Server Administrator
The Server Administrator will be responsible for the implementation, configuration, management, monitoring, administration & operations of servers on various operating platforms.  Qualified applicants will have 3+ years of systems administration experience with a multitude of technologies, hardwares and softwares.  This full-time contract position will devote 50% of its time to the PRBI project for the life of the project.

Essential Duties
• Responsible for the installation, configuration and monitoring of Windows and Linux servers
• Performs system administration functions, which includes system monitoring, hardware/software installation and routine maintenance.
• Research, organize, write, edit and produce original technical documentation • Previous experience in high-tech, communications or service-oriented business preferred
• Administer a virtualized environment

Qualification Requirements
• Must be self-motivating, organized, reliable and willing to learn new technologies.
• Must have strong teaming, interpersonal, documentation, and prioritization skills.
• Windows Server and RedHat Linux, or advanced general Linux knowledge
• Configure and troubleshoot standard deamons and tools (NTP, NIS, BIND, Apache, Syslog, logrotate)
• Familiarity with database software (MySQL, MS SQL)
• Linux commands and basic shell programming
• Basic networking knowledge, ip addressing, vlans
• Experience doing system backups
• Familiarity with virtualization software
• Software programming a plus (Perl, Java, PHP)
• Experience with system monitoring tools a plus (Nagios, Cacti, MRTG)

Jr. Network Engineer
The Bridge Project Jr. Network Engineer will be responsible for tasks associated with the procurement, configuration and ultimate implementation of the PRBI Network.  The position will work directly with the Bridge Project Chief Information Technology Officer/Bridge Director and the Bridge Manager/Foreman.  Qualified applicants will have at least 3 years of advanced data networking experience, preferably in an ISP or Telecommunication Environment.

Responsibilities
• Responsible for the installation, configuration & monitoring of network equipment for PRBI network
• Performs network administration functions, including system monitoring, backups, documentation, hardware/software upgrades and routine maintenance
• Working with vendors/suppliers
• Research, organize, write, edit, and produce original technical documentation
• Troubleshooting network problems
• Procurementation tasks as directed
• Preparation of cost/benefit, feasibility & impact studies of network hardware/software
• Provide expert-level customer support to network customers
• Troubleshooting network faults in a systematic  manner
• Preparation of network documentation
• Implementation of peering, management and transit policies
• Implementation of security and privacy policies
• Investigate, document, and report any actual or perceived violation of security
• Implement policies and guidance relating to the firewall management, remote access, wireless networking technology and other security infrastructure.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Project Manager

Account Managers will achieve monthly revenue goals by selling into the Island’s largest commercial and retail buildings, collocation and data center facilities, office parks and professional campuses.

Responsibilities
• Critical Hub’s Account Manager will be responsible for reaching its goals by doing Business to Business Sales; Cold Calling, Tele-Marketing, Networking, Writing Proposals, Closing Prospects, Trade Shows, Processing Orders, Obtaining Monthly Quota and Maintaining a Customer Base for Future Growth. Strong Oral, Written and Computer Skills are Necessary.

Essential Skills
• Candidate must have proven experience in a direct hunting, B2B sales role and quota achievement.
• You must be able to demonstrate your ability to identify, qualify and generate new business through extensive prospecting and research. • A qualified candidate will have 3-4+ years of solid, B2B sales experience preferably in the telecom arena. Experienced and professional communication skills both oral and written are a must.
• You must also be able to work in a fast paced, team environment with revenue deadlines. • A track record of success and recent experience is required.
• Professional knowledge of computer applications such as Microsoft Office is a plus.
• Previous experience with telecommunications is extremely vital.
• This position is based in San Juan, but travel within island may be necessary.
